I have been taking Pilates classes on and off over the years, participating in classes here at Stacked since the studio opened in 2011, and I am hooked! Pilate’s focuses on maintaining proper alignment, stabilization, breath & core strength – it promotes long, lean muscles and improves strength, flexibility & coordination. Coming out of a Pilate’s class, I always feel like I have worked hard & am standing taller, yet still relaxed.
In addition to Pilates, I have participated in various forms of dance throughout the years, including ballet, jazz, lyrical & contemporary. I danced competitively since the age of ten until University and was on my University dance team. Staying healthy and active has always been an important part of my life and I enjoy passing on the benefits of physical fitness to others.
Pilates has made a huge difference in my life – I have never felt stronger and more energized and I love that I have a part in making other people feel the same way. My interest in learning more about the biomechanics of the human body, combined with my passion for Pilate’s is what ultimately led me to pursue teaching the method. I am currently a Stott Pilates Certified instructor. I’m constantly striving to expand my education with Stott Pilates, as well as the fitness industry as a whole. I am excited to continually learn and grow with the Stacked Pilates team.
