Welcome to
Stacked Pilates.
Our studio's main mission is to empower and inspire
people. Inspire people to take care of their bodies, to
practice exercise that feels good, and to leave our door in a happier, healthier mindset than when they came in.
We believe that a body in motion is a happy one and that every body can safely and effectively reap the benefits of Pilates and Movement.
We have been privileged to teach all ages
and ability levels- from teenagers to clients in their
90's, from people using wheelchairs to athletes.
A little bit about us...
Stacked Pilates & Dance opened October of 2011. Our "little studio that could" has become a place not only to exercise and make positive changes to your well-being, but a place to be amongst positive, caring people who genuinely care about your overall success.
ALANA
Studio Owner
I come from a dance background (which you do NOT need to practice Pilates!) - but it is what drove me to Pilates in the first place. I was a dancer in NYC, working at Radio City as a Rockette and as a performer on Broadway. When I sprained my ankle during a show my physio encouraged me to start taking Pilates classes. Suddenly I was learning to engage muscles I never even knew about and I proceeded to take a deep dive into a pool of self care that I so enjoyed. Once moving back to Canada I completed my full Pilates certification and opened Stacked shorty thereafter. Since partnering with Brittany I have continued to find daily delight in making people feel strong and have insisted "the little studio that could" only encapsulates joy. I look forward to meeting you!

Studio Director
I have been the Studio Director here at Stacked since 2013 and have been teaching Pilates for 8 years. I fell in love with Pilates after taking private classes with Alana for a few years and felt the positive impact it had on my body as well as my overall outlook regarding health and wellness. My goal for Stacked is to create a positive and energetic atmosphere so that all clients, regardless of age or fitness level can feel inspired, strong, and confident from the moment they walk in the door.

For those who are new to Pilates, we STRONGLY recommend starting in a Level 1 class, or with an Intro package.

We use STOTT Reformers and our teachers are all qualified and certified to teach through different Pilates affiliates.
